Original Series
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Daniel Kuso
Dan
is a 13 year old boy who loves
Bakugan. His greatest ambition
is to be the number one battle
brawler in the world. He is
a Pyrus battler. He is frustrated
easily. His guardian
Bakugan
is the Pyrus-attribute Dragonoid
(nicknamed Drago). He is in
love with Runo but doesn't confess
until the end of the series,
when they are seen on a date
together. In the anime television
series, Dan is voiced by
Yu Kobayashi in the Japanese
language and Scott McCord in
the English language. Drago
is voiced by
Keiji Fujiwara in the Japanese
language and Jason Deline in
the English language.
Runo Misaki
Runo
is not your typical pre-teen
girl. Runo is a tomboy who loves
playing Bakugan with people
that have skills to show off.
Runo is a Haos battler. Her
Guardian Bakugan is the Haos-attribute
Tigrerra, who is very obedient
to her master and powerful in
battle. Runo hates when people
think that just because she
is a girl, they can beat her.
At the end of the series she
and Dan are seen on a movie
date. In the anime television
series, Runo is voiced by
Eri Sendai in the Japanese
language and
Julie Lemieux in the English
language. Tigrerra is voiced
by Atsushi Ono in the Japanese
language and
Stevie Vallance in the English
language.
Marucho Marukuro
He is an 11 year old
wealthy boy who is very generous and smart.
He is what you could call a walking encyclopedia.
He loves to play Bakugan and he also likes to
work on strategies. He used to be extremely
obedient to his parents just because he wanted
to please them, but that changed when he met
the Brawlers. He now has no regrets for the
past, realizing that he only wanted to make
his parents happy. He is an Aquos battler. His
Guardian
Bakugan are the Aquos-attribute Preyas and the
Haos Angelo/Pyrus Diablo Preyas. Preyas was
sent to the Doom Dimension in Marucho's battle
with Klaus Von Hertzon. Later Klaus shows up
with Preyus. Dan and Runo find a way to get
Preyas back through defeating him in battle.
Preyas evolves into a two-sided Bakugan called
Preyas Angelo (Haos) and Preyas Diablo (Pyrus).
Unlike the other Bakugan however, Preyas multiplies
when he evolves, so Marucho got to keep the
old Preyas. He is short and small. Preyas also
has a move called "Change of Attribute" with
that he can take advantage of the opponent's
gate card. In the anime television series, Marucho
is voiced by
Ryou Hirohashi in the Japanese language
and Joanne Vannicola in the English language.
Preyas is voiced by Shawn Unifier.
Julie Makimoto
Julie tries to stay
happy even when the worst has happened (for
example, when Billy ended up under the control
of Masquerade), her acting happy after something
terrible happened is generally just to cover
up her real feelings. Julie forgets things easily,
proving that she is a little scatterbrained
at times. She is always up and happy with a
positive attitude. She is a Subterra battler.
At the beginning of the series, she is shown
to have a crush on Dan (which led to some arguments
with a jealous Runo), but later, accepts that
Dan and Runo are going out and accept a date
offer from her crush. Julie has a sister named
Daisy who has bested her in everything since
she was a child. Her Guardian Bakugan is Subterra-attribute
Gorem. In the anime television series, Julie
is voiced by Risa Mizuno in the Japanese language
and
Katie Griffin in the English language. Gorem
is voiced by
Hiroki Yasumoto.
Shun Kazami
Shun is the former
1st ranked Bakugan player who later moves down
to sixth position. He is a master of Bakugan,
and is also Dan's childhood friend. Shun is
a loner, a boy of very few words, yet is willing
to help his friends at every turn almost. He
is a Ventus battler. He approaches Bakugan like
a ninja. He lives with his grandfather (who
used to be a famous ninja warrior) who once
expected Shun to follow in his footsteps instead
of playing Bakugan. His Guardian Bakugan is
the Ventus-attribute Skyress whom Shun received
from his comatose mother in the hospital. No
one knows were his father is in the sieries.
In the anime television series, Shun is voiced
by
Chihiro Suzuki in the Japanese language
and
Zachary Bennett in the English language.
Skyress is voiced by
Chiharu Suzuka.
Alice Gehabich
She is a 14 year old
girl from Moscow who doesn't play Bakugan, but
knows almost everything about it. Michael Gehabich
is her grandfather, but after learning that
her grandfather became Hal-G and works with
Naga, she constantly worried about him. Alice
usually just gives advice to the brawlers, instead
of battling. Alice and Marucho are the 2 brawlers
who mostly use strategy. Although unlike Marucho,
Alice gives her strategies to the brawlers.
During season 2 she left the Brawlers after
finding out that she was Masquerade out of intense
guilt over what she did as him, but later returns
as Masquerade in time to save Dan and Drago.
Once she saves them Masquerade permanently leaves
her body, but leaves alpha hydranoid for her
to control. In the anime television series,
Alice is voiced by
Mamiko Noto in the Japanese language and
Emilie Barlow in the English language.
Masquerade
He used to be the number
1 Bakugan player before he left Alice's body.
His goal is to send all Bakugan to the Doom
Dimension with his Doom Card, so he can evolve
his Hydranoid and have the ultimate Bakugan.
He is a Darkus battler. He is revealed to be
Alice in
episode
38 and his origin is revealed in episode 39.
Masquerade came to life when negative energy
changed Alice (who doesn't know she is Masquerade
or what happens when she becomes him). Darkus
Hydranoid is Masquerade's guardian Bakugan.
He battles with Dan in episode 38 and loses.
He is actually Alice, but Masquerade disappears
from her body. In the anime television series,
Masquerade is voiced by
Souichiro Hoshi in the Japanese language
and
Lyon Smith in the English language.
Hal-G
Hal-G is the form
of Alice's grandfather Michael after he is
exposed to the Silent core just like Alice
and Masquerade. He is the one who opened the
portal to Vestroia and exposed humans to the
different types of Bakugan. He assist Naga
in his quest to get the Infinity Core from
Wavern. After Naga was destroyed, Hal-G
regressed back to Michael. Michael returns
in the second series.
Joe Brown
Also known as Webmaster
Joe. He lived in a hospital. The Brawlers used
to think he was working for Masquerade, but
he actually sent a message to the Brawlers to
warn them that Masquerade was plotting against
them. When he met Dan, he said he would only
tell him if he was working for Masquerade if
Dan beat him in a battle. In the middle of the
battle he fainted. When he woke up they asked
him to be one of the Brawlers. He gladly accepted.
Sometime after he moved to the Brawlers neighborhood,
he found Wayvern who had the Infinity Core inside
her. Wayvern is a White One meaning she has
no attribute. But her abilities in battle are
considered Haos. Wayvern is Joe's guardian Bakugan.
It is also revealed that Wayvern is Naga's younger
twin sister. At the end of the last episode
of Bakugan Joe and Chan Lee are seen on a bench
together holding hands. Joe is the first person
to beat Masquerade at Bakugan with his new bakugan
Wayvern. In the anime television series, Joe
is voiced by Souichiro Hoshi.
Billy Gilbert
Julie's childhood friend. He
defeated Julie when they first battled, but
lost in a rematch, and lost 2 more times when
he was under the control of Masquerade. He is
shown to like Julie in episode 47, "Here's mud
in your eye" or in the Japanese version, "Good
night baby". At the end of the series Julie
asks him if he would like to go on a date some
time, and he agreed. It's assumed they are still
going out at the end of the series. Also, at
the end of episode 47 Julie makes it known that
the two are boyfriend and girlfriend
Klaus Von Hertzon
He was once the second ranked Bakugan
player, but later moves down to rank four
after being defeated by Masquerade. He is an
Aquos battler and his guardian Bakugan is
Aquos Sirenoid, whom he shares a deep bond
with. He sent Marucho's Aquos Preyas into
the Doom Dimension, but gave him back later.
In episode 26, Klaus lost Sirenoid to
Masquerade. Klaus later helped Alice and
Christopher fight Rabeeder. He might have a
crush on Alice as well.
Chan Lee
The 3rd rank brawler that appeared
in episode 14, and was recruited by Masquerade. She
uses Pyrus attribute Bakugan and her guardian
Bakugan is Pyrus Fourtress. Dan Kuso beat her
on episode 16. Pyrus Fourtress get send to the
Doom Dimension in Episode 26. She is reunited
with him sometime around episodes 32 and 36.
She has a crush on Joe and at the end of the
second series when Dan is on his date with Runo,
she and Joe can be seen together in the background.
In episode 49 Chan rescues Joe from Hal-G using
her martial arts moves.
Komba O'Charlie
The 5th Ranked Bakugan player and Julie's
neighbor in Africa. He uses Ventus attribute
Bakugan, Harpus. He used to be rather
selfish and refused to accept his first
defeat from Shun and challenges him again,
although he lost. He was ranked fifth best
Bakugan player until his defeat in episode
26 and the loss of Harpus, which was
Masquerade's doing. Later on, he moves down
to rank 11. He later helps Shun and Julio
fight Hairadee. He wants to be Shun's
apprentice but Shun turns him down saying he
should teach himself instead.
Julio Santana
The 4th Ranked Bakugan player and
self-proclaimed master of Haos-attribute
bakugan. His Guardian Bakugan is Haos
Tentaclear. Tentaclear does not talk but is
strong in battle. Julio is a bully of the
Brawlers. He later becomes rank 9. He helps
Shun and Komba fight Hairadee.
From New
Vestroia Series
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Daniel 'Dan' Kuso
Dan returns to New Vestroia partnered with
Drago to save New Vestroia from the Vestals.
He still acts the same as usual and, because
of their similar personalities, holds a
friendly rivalry with Ace. Despite being
introduced to the new Brawling system, Dan
manages to get the hang of it almost
immediately after beating two of the Vexos
and battles his way into the Resistance by
tying with Ace. He is quick to react to
situations but at the same time, quick to
temper. He is still going out with Runo
(although when questioned about it,
he
said that he wasn't). His main Bakugan is
Pyrus Neo Dragonoid and his Trap Bakugan is
Scorpion, who was given to him by Mira. Dan
and Drago work as a team. Drago spins while
opening up, he becomes like a fire red
tornado with a Bakugan inside and opens up,
like a dragon. Dan is 14-years-old and is
shown to still be dating Runo. His
determination to get Drago back from Spectra
after having lost him in a battle pays off
as he and Drago reunite in episode 18. At
the end of episode 19, he goes back to New
Vestroia through Dr. Gehabich's dimension
transporter with Baron, where he regretfully
leaves the rest of the original brawlers
behind, particularly Runo. In episode 20 he
and Baron made it back to New Vestroia where
they battled Mylene and Shadow in Beta City
where they defeated them when Drago
unleashed the power of the Perfect Core.
Choji 'Marucho' Marukuro
Marucho returns to New
Vestroia with Dan after
overhearing Drago's plan to
leave the others (Marucho,
Runo, (Shun, Alice-even
though they weren't there)
and Julie) behind. While
feeling depressed about not
having a guardian Bakugan,
and having been separated
from Preyas, Angelo, and
Diablo, Marucho sets out to
find a new one, when he runs
into Aquos Elfin, a female
Bakugan, is able to change
attributes and has a crush
on Preyas, Marucho's trap
bakugan is Tripod Epsilon.
Despite his height, he is
older than Baron. Marucho is
incredibly smart and can be
considered a walking
encyclopedia and is 13 years
of age. He is seen, after
being defeated by Volt in
episode 14, being held as a
hostage in episodes 15 and
17, and was later freed by
Mira and Spectra in episode
20, where he is unaware of
this. He gets Preyas back in
episode 26. Nothing is known
about Preyas Angelo/Diablo.
Baron Letloy
Baron, 12-years-old, (he
confirmed it in the English
version, when he said "I'm
almost 13 ya know!") is a
huge fan of the Bakugan
Battle Brawlers and the six
fighting Bakugan as
displayed by his reaction to
first meeting Dan, Marucho,
Drago, and Shun. He seems to
always embarrass himself in
front of Dan, Marucho and
Shun as he couldn't help
himself since he's their
'biggest fans'. According to
Mira he has a poster of the
Bakugan Battle Brawlers up
on his wall. He is the
youngest and most emotional
of all the brawlers.
Originally he fought with
Tigrerra, but lost her to
Spectra and Helios. He uses
Haos Mega Nemus as his main
Bakugan and uses Piercian as
a Trap Bakugan. In episode
10, he says that he 'had
always wondered what it
would be like on the other
side of the portal' [which
was the portal that led Runo
to New Vestroia, so it means
that he had always wanted to
visit Earth]. At the end of
episode 10 he decides to
follow Dan, Mira and Runo to
Earth in order to stop the
Vexos from destroying it.
Baron admires Runo as one of
the six original Battle
Brawlers but Mr. Misaki [Runo's
father] doesn't like the
fact that he does (because
he thinks that he has a
crush on her, and he don't
like that idea because he
thinks that Baron is kind of
wacky). So Mr. Misaki says
that there's 'something
wrong with this boy' while
Mrs. Misaki [Runo's mother]
says that 'he's a sweety'.
Mrs. Kuso [Dan's mother]
says the same thing in
episode 14. He returns to
New Vestroia with Dan
through Dr. Gehabich's
dimension transporter. He
seems to be very fond of the
activities done on Earth,
especially by Dan e.g.
taking baths. In episode 20
he and Dan made it back to
New Vestroia where they
battled Mylene and Shadow in
Beta City. Baron was
defeated helping Dan and
Drago, but he still was able
to keep Nemus. He's almost
13 in episode 19.
Ace Swemco
A
14-year-old boy who is
handsome but sarcastic. Ace
is so similar to Dan that
there is often tension
between the two of them. He
is secretly in love with
Mira. In episode 6, he and
Mira had an argument because
Mira wanted to postpone
destroying the dimension
controllers and find her
brother, but basically Ace
is worried about Mira in
case of the dangers she may
face. He taunts Mira in
episode 10 saying 'You sound
jealous' when Mira questions
Dan about Runo, which may
also further prove his love
for Mira. In the episode 13
preview, he says 'This is
for Mira', which may also
hint that he likes Mira.
Also in episode 13, he
worries about Mira and when
he hears her voice in the
night [which was really
Shadow who was leading him
into a Vexos Trap], he tries
to 'save' her which further
proves his love for Mira. In
the same episode, he made a
number of flashbacks about
him and Mira, and also when
he first meets Percival and
joins the Resistance. In
episode 8, Shun mentions
that Ace is a lot like Dan,
which is true. He often
doesn't think things through
and regrets some things that
he says. He uses the Darkus
attribute. Darkus Percival
is his main Bakugan and
Falconfly is his Trap
Bakugan. When he and Shun
are forced to fight together
in a tournament, in episode
8, tensions rise between the
two of
them
and they fall close to
losing. But, on the edge of
defeat, they put their
differences aside and Ace
works together with Shun
after realizing he was just
trying to help. Later, in
episode 10, they manage to
get along really well
despite their arguments in
the previous episode. In
episode 8, the person who
wears the black/purple mask
is Ace. After getting
defeated by Mylene in
episode 13, he is seen in
episode 15 and 17 as a
hostage, but is later freed
by Spectra and Mira in
episode 20, though he is
unaware that they freed him.
When he's told that Mira
betrayed the Resistance he
refused to believe it due to
his feelings for her and
gets a little violent by
grabbing Dan's collar, but
had to believe it was true
when he heard Baron's side
of the story, which was the
exact same as Dan's. He is
shown to have a lot of faith
in Mira, as in episode 23,
he told Mira 'I always
believed in you'.
Shun Kazami
Shun came to New Vestroia
completely by accident,
explaining why Dan couldn't
contact him in episode 1. He
was alone training on his
ninja skills up in the
mountains when he got sucked
into a warp hole to New
Vestroia. He is still silent
as usual yet still highly
skilled with Bakugan and is
willing to help his friends
when they need it. Not much
has changed for how he
looks, except for the fact
that he has cut off his pony
tail, and he still has a
cocky attitude. He made a
cameo appearance in episode
4 when Marucho battled
Mylene [but his face wasn't
revealed as his hood covered
his face completely] and was
offered a place in the Vexos.
After hearing that Skyress
was taken captive, he rushed
to break into one of the
cities to rescue her, but
teamed up with Dan after
rescuing him from Spectra
and Gus. After being
separated from Skyress, he
teams up with Ventus Ingram,
whom he grabbed before the
tractor pulled her into the
ship, and his Trap Bakugan
Hylash. Shun is
14-years-old. According to
Ace, he is a 'ninja
wannabe', but is deeply
admired by Baron as he, in
episode 7, tries to imitate
some of Shun's ninja moves
but fails miserably. Shun is
the guy who wears the ninja
mask in episode 8. He is
seen as a hostage in episode
15 and 17 after getting
defeated by Shadow in
episode 15. Spectra and Mira
later free him in episode
20, though he is unaware of
this.He gets back Storm
Skyress in episode 26 but
she stays in New Vestroia.
Runo Misaki
Runo is one of the six
Bakugan Battle Brawlers who
paired up with Bakugan and
saved Vestroia (plus Joe,
considering the events of
episode 24 in the first
season). She partnered with
Haos Blade Tigrerra in the
first two seasons of Bakugan
and is currently on Earth
after Dan and Marucho went
off to New Vestroia. At the
beginning episode for the
new season, she is
apparently still going out
with Dan and seen on what
might have been a date.
Though she is shown
frustrated, she is deeply
worried for Dan, and wonders
if
he's doing alright in New
Vestroia. She appears in
episode 10 and tried to
travel to New Vestroia
despite Dr. Michael telling
her the transporter's not
working but she couldn't
touch anything and can see
and talk to people.
Eventually at the end of
that episode she went back
to Earth with Dan, Spectra,
Gus, Mira, Baron and Lync.
Spectra kidnapped her in
episode 11 but released her.
She gets ready to go back to
New Vestroia with Dan in
episode 19, but then has to
stay on Earth as she needed
a Gauntlet in order to go
through Dr. Gehabich's
dimension transporter. She
got Blade Tigrerra back
Julie Makimoto
Like Runo, Julie is one of
the six Bakugan Battle
Brawlers. She was partnered
with Subterra Hammer Gorem
until their separation at
the end of season two and
now apparently stays with
Runo, given how she is seen
working at the restaurant.
Through her it is discovered
that Billy is traveling the
world to learn from the
greatest athletes, yet not
doing very good at it, and
is currently in Spain
learning the art of
bullfighting (given he is
dressed as a matador), in
episode 10 She got a
postcard from Billy, he has
currently moved to Africa.
She stays in Earth after
launching Runo to New
Vestroia. She helped Dan
look for Runo in Earth when
she was kidnapped by Spectra
and more recently, aided
Mira in battle to unmask
Spectra Phantom who is
Keith. She gets ready to go
back to New Vestroia with
Dan in episode 19, but then
has to stay on Earth as she
needed a Gauntlet in order
to go through Dr. Gehabich's
dimension transporter. She
got Hammer Gorem back.
Alice Gehabich
Alice is a girl from Moscow,
Russia. She is one of the
six Battle Brawlers.
Although she knows almost
everything about the game,
she only sometimes plays it.
Masquerade was her alter
ego. Her guardian is Alpha
Hydranoid, given to her by
Masquerade. She returns in
episode 10 and 11 of the
Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New
Vestroia the third season.
In episode 19 her
grandfather fixes the portal
to New Vestroia and goes
with Dan, Runo, and Julie to
save Shun, Marucho, and Ace
but the portal only takes
those with gauntlets. She is
currently helping her
grandfather repair the
transporter for Dan and the
others while at the same
time offering Lync
hospitality [despite her
deep hatred for him]. It is
also shown that Alice can
use the warp card that
Masquerade used to teleport
himself. She gets ready to
go back to New Vestroia with
Dan in episode 19, but then
has to stay on Earth as she
needed a Gauntlet in order
to go through Dr. Gehabich's
dimension transporter. She
got Alpha Hydranoid back.
Mira Clay/Firman
Mira, a 14-year-old Vestal
girl, formed the Bakugan
Brawler Resistance, after
witnessing the tortured
Alpha Hydranoid speak out in
vengeance to the invaders,
to free all the captured
Bakugan from Prince Hydron
and the Vexos. She is the
oldest member of the
Resistance, although her
height makes it seem she's
young. She also has a
brother that she desperately
wants to find after he
disappeared during
Hydranoid's rebellion.
Although she is the leader,
she is not necessarily
accepted by the others, as
she has a small tendency to
go off on her own. She may
have a crush on Dan (Which
is made obvious in episode
26 where she looks like
she's about to cry when she
thinks he's been destroyed
and is overjoyed when she
finds out he's alive) [which
makes Ace jealous], but at
the same time on Ace. She
prefers the Subterra
attribute. Her main Bakugan
is Subterra Thunder Wilda
and her Trap Bakugan is
Baliton. She suspects that
Spectra may be her brother
because of the similar way
that they toss bakugan. At
the end of episode 10, she
along with Baron travel with
Dan back to his world. In
Episode 12, Mira has to
battle
Spectra
and if she's victorious,
Spectra will be unmasked. If
she loses, however, she has
to join the Vexos, and even
battle her own friends. She
told herself in the
beginning of episode 12 that
her hero was always her
brother, Keith, but forced
herself to change her mind
about it after Spectra
unmasks himself in front of
her, revealing that he was
her 'hero', as she said to
herself 'That's my greatest
enemy...and my brother' when
Julie asked her who was
Spectra. Baron described her
as 'intense'. She betrays
the Resistance in episode 19
as she says that she 'wants
to stay with Keith' once
telling the others on Earth
Spectra is her brother. She
returns to New Vestroia
through the portal Apollonir
opened with Spectra, Gus and
Lync after revealing her
betrayal. In episode 20, she
reveals that she joined the
Vexos, but is really
wondering what Spectra is up
to. In episode 21 she
challenged her brother to a
battle and if she wins, she
goes back to being with her
real brother and not
Spectra; however, if she
loses, she will have no
choice but to serve Spectra.
She later lost the brawl.
She is regretful of this as
she says 'I'm sorry my
friends' at the end of the
episode, and is also seen
crying as she has no choice
but to be an enemy to the
Resistance. She laters
returns to the Resistance.
In a few episodes in the
series, Spectra refers to
her as Mira Firman; this has
been a source of confusion
to viewers, as the
Resistance referred to her
as Mira Clay.
Prince Hydron
Prince Hydron is the leader
of the Vexos. He is
collecting all six of the
fighting Bakugan that saved
Vestroia and keeping them as
'trophies' of some sort. He
has a significant influence
over the Vexos, as shown
during his conversations
with Spectra Phantom, the
top Vestal Brawler in New
Vestroia. He is shown to be
quite a spoiled brat given
his frustration and how he
takes on the forms of
childish tantrums as the
Vexos continually fails to
bring him Drago, the last of
the six fighting Bakugan
needed in his collection, as
he's already in possession
of Gorem, Preyas, Tigrerra,
Skyress, and Hydranoid in a
petrified (statue) form. He
is aware of Spectra's
rebellion against him. He is
shown to have a habit of
twirling his hair between
his fingers. In Episode 17,
he may also be aware that
Spectra has Drago in his
hands.
Spectra Phantom/Keith Clay
Spectra answers only to
Prince Hydron, who commands
all of the Vexos. Little is
known about Spectra, but he
is very powerful and thinks
highly of his skills. He is
the Vexos' strongest battler
and uses Pyrus Viper Helios
as his main Bakugan and
Metalfencer as his Trap
Bakugan. In Episode 6, after
seeing Drago's powers,
Spectra said that he's not
going to let it be a 'play
thing', which means that
even when he captures Drago,
he won't give him to Prince
Hydron. In episode 8, there
is a possibility that
Spectra could be Mira's
brother, Keith. He also
wished to join forces with
Dan and the Resistance so
they could take Prince
Hydron down together. In
episode 12, Gus battles Mira
instead of Spectra, and
loses. Spectra does as he
told Mira he would do and
unmasks himself. He is shown
to be
Mira's older brother, Keith.
As of episode 13, he was no
longer the leader of the
Vexos, and the leadership
was handed over to Mylene.
In episode 16, Spectra
successfully won the bakugan
brawl against Dan and Drago,
and takes Drago. Dan defeats
him and a corrupted Drago
during their brawl, in
episode 18, with the help of
Pyrus Apollonir. In episode
19, he convinces Mira to
join him. He is currently at
work on his "ultimate plan",
which is creating a cyber
Dragonoid and duplicating
the power of the perfect
core, planning to use this
bakugan to overthrow the
Vestal royal family. In
episode 21 he battled Mira
and won with his new cyborg
Helios. In episode 24 he
takes several cyborg bakugan
for his own purpose of
making Maxus Helios to
defeat Dan. Why and how he
became Spectra remains
unknown.
Gus Grav
Gus
is the Vexos' second
strongest player, a Subterra
player and devotes all his
free time to training. He
uses Subterra Vulcan as his
main Bakugan and Hexados as
his Trap Bakugan. He only
answers to Spectra. He is
said to be a weasel
throughout the series, and
"Spectra's little pet" by
the other members of the
Vexos, like Mylene[1]
and Lync[2].
He was recently shown to be
fond of the different things
on Earth such as 'juice in
boxes', but in episode 19,
he says that he hated Earth.
In episode 5, it was shown
that before he joined the
Vexos, he battled Spectra in
the finals of the Bakugan
Battle Tournament and lost.
He was then offered a place
in the Vexos by Spectra,
where he gladly accepts. He
admires Spectra a great deal
and he feels that Spectra
must be respected at all
cost (example: when Lync
asked Spectra for rewards as
he accepts his invitation to
go back to New Vestroia
through Appolonir's portal,
Gus tells Lync rather
sharply that he must show
respect to people stronger
than him aka Spectra in
episode 19]. He is shown to
hate Lync.
Mylene Pharaoh
Mylene is the only female in
the Vexos group. She doesn't
trust Spectra and enjoys
doing things her way, but is
still a loyal member of the
Vexos. She becomes the
leader of the Vexos after
Spectra and Gus travel to
Earth. Mylene uses Aquos
Elico as her main Bakugan,
and Aquos Tripod Theta as
her Trap Bakugan. She
successfully defeated Ace in
episode 13. She enjoys the
power of being the leader of
the Vexos and, like Spectra,
is tired of Prince Hydron
bossing her around all the
time. She also gets annoyed
easily by Shadow Prove, who
won't stop following her
everywhere she went. In
episode 20 she and Shadow
battled Dan and Baron in
Beta City and were defeated
when Drago unleashed the
power of the perfect core.
As of episode 24 she plans
to escape New Vestroia,
saying that it could be
destroyed by the battle
between Spectra and Dan and
their bakugan. In episode
25, she discards her
guardian Bakugan Aquos Elico,
together with Volt's Haos
Brontes, as she thinks that
Bakugan with feelings are
useless.
Shadow Prove
Shadow is a Darkus brawler,
and is the youngest brawler
in the Vexos despite his
height. He is childish and
jester-like. His Guardian
Bakugan is Darkus Hades, who
was created with Alpha
Hydranoid's DNA, and he also
has Dakus Foretress as a
Trap Bakugan. He may have a
major crush on Mylene as he
keeps following her
everywhere she goes. Mylene
described him as a child in
episode 3, and then a hyena
in episode 15. He has the
ability to copy other
people's voices as he
successfully tricked Ace and
Marucho into falling for a
trap by being the voice of
Mira and Dan respectively.
He has a habit of sticking
his tongue out every time he
talks. He successfully
defeated Shun in episode 15.
In episode 20 he and Mylene
battled Dan and Baron in
Beta City and were defeated
when Drago unleashed the
power of the perfect core.
Lync Volan
Lync is a Ventus brawler. He
uses mechanical Ventus
Altair as his Guardian
Bakugan, and mechanical
Ventus Wired as a Trap
Bakugan. Altair and Wired
are able to combine into
Meta Altair, which is seen
in episode 9, and seen again
in episode 11. He is a spy
for Prince Hydron on Spectra
and Gus. He and Volt Luster
are the Vexos' tag team
champions. He gets defeated
by Dan in episode 1, and
then again in episode 9 by
Ace and Shun in the Bakugan
Battle Tournament [Volt also
gets defeated in both
episodes]. He then gets
defeated by Baron in episode
11. He went to Earth with
Spectra, Gus, Dan, Mira and
Baron. He is currently stuck
on Earth with Alice after
rejecting Dan's hospitality
[he
accepted
Alice's due to his hunger,
but he is aware that Alice
hates him]. He is seen
crying at the end of episode
11. Baron called him 'a
little weasel' in episode
11. In the same episode, Gus
calls him a snake. It is
seen that Gus doesn't like
him one bit. He has his
Gauntlet taken away by Dr.
Gehabich in order to fix his
dimension transporter, and
Lync still isn't aware of
it. Lync eventually makes it
home after swearing loyalty
to Spectra and when Prince
Hydron asked him to spy on
Spectra, Lync denys him and
helps Spectra with his
"ultimate plan". But he then
betrays Spectra in locking
up Gus so he can't tell his
master of Mylene's escape
plan. It is obvious he will
do whatever is best for him,
due to his multiple
betrayals throughout the
series.
Volt Luster
Volt is a Haos attribute
brawler. He uses Haos
Brontes as his Guardian
Bakugan and Haos Dynamo as a
Trap Bakugan. He, together
with Lync Volan, are the
Vexos' tag team champions,
although they don't get
along well together. He gets
defeated by Dan in episode
1, and then again in episode
9 by Ace and Shun in the
Bakugan Battle Tournament [Lync
also gets defeated in both
episodes]. He successfully
defeats Marucho in episode
14. He is defeated by Baron
in episode 23, and in
episode 24 is shown with
Mylene and Shadow as they
hatched an escape plan. In
episode 25, his Haos Brontes
got thrown out by Mylene,
together with her Aquos
Elico, as she thinks that
Bakugan with feelings are
useless.
Professor Clay
Professor Clay is Mira
Clay's and Keith
Clay/Spectra Phantom's
father who creates a
Mechanical Bakugan, Ventus
Altair, for Lync in Cyber
Nightmare (episode 7). He
also appears in episode 2
with Alpha Hydranoid. He
also created Darkus Hades
and Trap Darkus Foretress
for Shadow. Professor Clay
is also credited for making
the Cyber Bakugan that were
intended for Prince Hydron
but are being reprogramed
for Spectra by Lync. He also
turns Pyrus Viper Helios
into Pyrus Cyborg Helios
after Helios gave him the
idea of a Cyborg Bakugan.
